We’re hiring a few more Durham/Chapel Hill photographers who want to grow with our portrait/headshot business (starting as assistants, with a path to doing second-camera work, and independent gigs).
Note: For the right person, there’s a career path to be our headshot day Team Lead.
Are you a beginning portrait/headshot photographer, looking to grow your career?
We’re adding to our rapidly expanding portrait & headshot business. (Team members may also be considered for our other photo work areas after training.)
People skills, good camera & lighting skills, reliability, teamwork, plus flexible availability are a must.
Specific headshot experience, studio lighting skills, and some photo editing experience is a plus.
Next Step:
Due to the volume of responses, we can only respond to photographers who submit relevant work for review.
Qualities of a HuthPhoto Team Member:
- Flexible, friendly personality, who enjoys helping people look their best
- Reliable, organized, good communicator
- Solid photo & tech skills, teachable, and always wanting to learn more
- Work well as a TEAM, often under busy, demanding situations
- Comfortable setting up photo equipment: tripods, light stands, backgrounds, etc (training available)
- Strong business skills to take care of clients in a professional way
- Portable flash skills is critical (training is available) and studio light experience a plus
- Ability to work well independently with little need for client direction
- Expecting to be in the Triangle area for a few years
- A body of work/portfolio (with examples of portraits)
